June favourites 2014!

Hello beauties! So I just realized that today is the first day of the month of July and that is insane... time is seriously flying by so fast, I feel like I can't even blink my eyes otherwise it's already September. We're in the beginning of a new month so it's about time to do a June favourites. I don't have that much stuff to show you mainly because I haven't been buying anything and I didn't really did anything special this month but I hope that somehow you enjoy reading this :)

My absolute favourite from the month of June has to be the book "The fault in our stars". I know this is not the original cover, and that is because it's not in english. This is the portuguese version of it (which I really enjoyed by the way). I really wanted the english version, but my mum wanted to read it as well and she doesn't understand English (just a little bit), so that is why. I've also seen the movie and it's of course my favourite of the month as well, it is simply amazing and I cried a lot at the cinema and had to use five tissues ahah.

The next favourite now related to beauty is this blender sponge, foundation sponge or whatever you call it that my mum bought me. I've heard a lot of good things about it and I've been really enjoying using this. Mainly because even if I exaggerate a little bit on the foundation, this blends everything out and absorbs the excess of product which I think it's really nice to prevent my face to look cakey.

1-TRESemmé Diamente heat protectant
2- TRESemmé treatment for split ends
3- Garnier makeup remover

This next products are also beauty related.
The first one is the TRESemmé's heat protectant which I use every time I curl or straight my hair and it really helps protecting my hair from the heat preventing it from damage.
The second product is a treatment/cream for split ends. My hair tends to get split ends very easily and it's also really dry, so this helps reducing the dryness and my hair also looks and feels more healthy and soft. I also just apply a tiny bit on the ends.
Now the last one is my makeup remover from Garnier. What I like the most about it is that it is super fresh and minty and after you use it your face feels really, really soft. It also removes all the makeup and I really like it!

That's it for my favourites of the month of June, I hope you enjoyed reading this even tho it was a little bit on the short side. It would mean the world if you could share this, follow me or leave a comment down below telling me your favourites or simply a thought! Thank you. x

My birthday celebration!

Hello beauties! Long time, no see. First of all I'd like to apologize for my lack of posts, I was so busy studying for finals that I ended up not posting anything but I'm now finally on summer break *sings hallelujah* so I'll be posting more regularly. As you may, or may not know, I celebrated my birthday on Thursday woot woot. I didn't really know what to do so I decided to just chill with my friends and do something casual and simple. Since it was a school day I couldn't really do anything in the morning besides going to class, so that's how I spent my morning. Then I went to my grandma's to have lunch and after that I went downtown to just walk around with some friends, eat some ice cream, see the view, talk chill and at the end of the day we went to the movies to see "Maleficent" (which was awesome).
I took some pictures throughout the day as you can see down below.

Mine's the bottom right. Oh god, doesn't it look delicious? I want some right now.

Sorry for not taking a picture of my outfit I totally forgot, but somehow I took this one. I wore a blazer with a floraly scarf, skinny jeans and some flats.

This is not considered a beach here in Portugal, this is actually in downtown Lisbon by the river. There were some tourists in their bikinis there just chillin, which I thought it was so weird.

While in Lisbon, we saw a lot of cool street art. This is not a statue. It is a real person :)

And then to end my day I just wanted to relax and read a bit. My mom gave me this book as a gift because I really, really wanted it and by the cover you can probaly see that is "The fault in our stars". Everyone's reading or already read this book. I actually wanted it in english, because I prefer it, but my mom bought it in portuguese because she also wants to read it.

That's it for my simple birthday celebration. It was a pretty casual day but I like it that way. Me, my friends and nothing to worry about. I hope you liked it, also leave me some suggestions on what to post next because it would be really helpful. Thank you! x
