New start!

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Long time no see! As you can tell by the tittle I decided to jump back in this beautiful and wonderful world of blogging. 

As some of you know (and if you do, thank you from the bottom of my heart) I started blogging in 2013. It was one of the best things I've ever done and it made me feel amazing knowing I was persuing something that I loved (still do) and sharing my toughts and opinions with you. I've had some times where I stopped blogging for a while cause my life got busier with college or I didn't feel as if I was making a difference in here, really doubting my content and I tought I wasn't creating "cool", and fun blog posts for you to read. 

Now I'm at a place where I feel ok with just being myself like I've always been and sharing my opinions and my view on thing and hoppefully you like it and read it! 

If my advice for anyone who's trying to start blogging or even when I see someone on youtube I like to see the people for what they are, their personality, their flaws, their humor, that is what makes me want to keep following that person. Seeing how genuine and passionate they are. I don't think anyone can be "successful" by showing people "what they want to see" and putting up a different personality to be the "perfect person", that doesn't work and people catch up on that.

So I need to stop worring about "oh what difference do I make by posting this, I don't think people will want to read it..." and just post it becase it is me, I tought about it, I like it and maybe people will like it too! Of course some people will like it more than others but that's just life, we can never please everyone. That's humanly impossible, and it's totally ok. 

I'm not trying to make this blog post super long, just wanted to bring some positivity into my first post since I haven't posted in a while and it would feel weird just doing like "my favorite beauty products at the moment" kinda post. Maybe you can in the comments tell me if you've ever felt this way and tell me what are you most excited by summer 2017? I'm excited to go on vacation with my family and boyfriend to the North here in Portugal. It's one of my favorite places to go, I really feel at piece there and relaxed.

My Room Decoration

Hello everyone, how are you all? Hope you all had an amazing Christmas with all your family and loved ones and that all your wishes came true this year. Recently I changed my room, before I had a single bed now I have a bigger one and the furniture is also changed, so with that I decided to take some pictures for you and show you how my room is now decorated. It is really my dream bedroom, it's basically all white, gray, black and silver, but mostly white as you can see in the pictures. It's something that I've always wanted to do, it's very clean looking, and with all the candles and fairy lights makes me never wanting to leave my room, it's so cozy. If you are interested, almost every furniture that you see is from ikea (my bed is not), but if you want to know any specific item you can ask me in the comments and I'll gladly reply and let you know everything about it.
Let me know in the comments if you guys like the decoration, or let me know what's the color theme in your room, I'm quite experienced in that since I've had my room orange and red, then pink and white, then purple and brown and now it's like this ahah, quite a change.

I ♥ AUTUMN

1. What signifies the start of Autumn for you?
Autumn is my favourite season it's in all honesty the best of the best. It's the season you can layer up more clothes without being too cold and you can start wearing scarves and more dark colores such as black, grey, burgundy, brown, deep reds and greens, you can wear boots and beanies, I could go on and on. Rainy and cold autumn days also mean: movies, blankets, fairy lights, cozy pajamas and hot chocolate or popcorn hmmm. And it also means that all my favorite festive days are coming.

2. What is your favourite Fall scent?
My favorite fall scent is of course apples and cinnamon, it has always been my favorite and it hasn't change.

3. What is you favourite Autumn colour?
I don't have just one favorite color for Autumn, but if I have to say one I know I'm going to be super boring and plain but the truth is that black is my absolute fav, an all black outfit, some boots and a cozy tartan scarve, I'm good to go. But I also do love burgundy.

4. What is your favourite Fall drink?                                                                     
My favorite fall drink is either hot chocolate or a really hot coffee with milk or capuccino as you may call it, it depends on my mood.       

5. What TV show, new or old are you looking forward to this Fall?
I'm not really into watching TV so I can't really give an answer but the TV Show that I'm actually now watching on my computer is "America's Next Top Model cycle 22". Any of you guys watching it too? Who's your fave? 

6. What is your favorite Fall fashion trend?
I'm not really about following the trends, but I've been LOVING seeing outfits with those kind of long (about the knee) blazers if you know what I mean? I believe their called duster coats for women, I don't know. But here's some pictures of kylie Jenner wearing them.

7. What is your favourite frugal Autumn activity?My favorite Autumn activity is just going on little waks with a hot drink watching all the leaves falling, the naked trees and the fairy lights on some people's windows already for Christmas.

My everyday makeup routine!

Hello beauties how have you all been? Today I decided to bring you the products that I use on my everyday makeup routine. I'm not the type of person that spends huge amounts of money in makeup, not because I don't want to, because if I had the opportunity I'd love to do that, it's just that with college and all that I usually only buy drugstore makeup also almost all the products you'll see here are from drugstore and are also really, really affordable. Which is nice for girls that are still in school and they're parents are not willing to buy really expensive makeup (which was my case in highschool). These products are all nice and I use them almost everyday for a really simple look.

Foundation by Rimmel "Match Perfection": about 12 €

Bronzer "Avon Glow": about 5 €

Blush "Glamour": given to me

Babylips by Maybelline: 2,99 €

Lipliner "P.S. Beauty Primark": 1,50 € 

Lipstick by "Essence" in 05 "Dare to be nude": about 2/3 €

Black Eyeliner by "Dior": given to me

Mascara by "Essence": 2-5 €

Hello beauties! First of all I'd like to apologize for not posting for a whole year. Yes, that's right... it's been a year. I was just kind of off and focused on school, but that's no excuse. I'm going to try to post more from now on, and to start I'm going to show you guys some pictures that I took in Lagos/Algarve this past week. It was amazing. I would spend the day on the beach and then at night I would go for some walks by the shore, eat some ice cream and see all the different shops. It was really lovely. 20 QUESTIONS TAG!

Hello beauties how are you all doing? I've been seeing this tag for quite a while now so I decided to do it myself. It is basically just 20 random questions and I'm answering them. You seem to really like this kind of tags so I do them. Enjoy!



1.Thing you cannot leave the house without?

Well this one is pretty obvious, I cannot leave my house without my iphone! 


2.Favorite brand of makeup?

Uh this is hard... I'm a drugstore girl because it's not only cheap but also as good as other fancy products so I really like maybelline.


3.Favorite Flowers?

My favorite flowers are daisies. So pretty. Uhhh, or sunflowers.



4.Fav clothing stores?

My favorite clothing stores are Primark, Bershka, Stradivarius, H&M...


5.Fav perfume?

My favorite perfume at the moment is Someday by Justin Bieber. It has that floral scent to it, perfect for Spring.


6.Heels or flats?

It really depends, but I am a flats person, it's so much comfortable. But I also like to wear heels for a night out, because it looks much dressier and it really suits our figure.


7.Do you make good grades?

Yes I think I make good grades, not strate A's but yes. Here, our grades go from 1-20 and my highest is 17 in English, and my lowest is 11 in Portuguese which is super weird because I'm Portuguese so I should be better at Portuguese but I'm not haha.


8.Fav colors?

My favorite colors are coral, mint, pink, peach...


9.Do you drink energy drinks?

Nope, I do not drink energy drinks but if I do drink one once in a while, I go for redbull.


10.Do you drink juice?

Yes I do. And I love to make my own juices/shakes with my blender. I mix some fruits, milk or yogurt and voila. Yum, yum, yum.


11.Do you like swimming?

I do not like to swim, I LOVE to swim. If I could I would spend my life underwater. Inclusive, when I was little my dream was to be a mermaid.


12.Do you eat fries with a fork?

Yes I do, I don' like the felling of the salt or the oil in my hands, so yeah.


13.Whats your fav moisturizer?

I really like one from Garnier or Phytomer.


14.Do you want to get married later on in life?

This is a hard question, because my answer is I don't know. I don't know what the future holds for me nor what my plans are. But probably, yes I'd like to get married one day, we'll see.


15.Do you get mad easily?

No, I don't get mad easily but if you cross the limit of my patience, I will get very mad and when I'm mad the last word has to be mine. But I can say that I'm a pretty calm person until someone pushes my buttons.


16.Are you into ghost hunting?

I won't say that I'm "into ghost hunting", but, ok this might sound crazy and you guys are probably going to think that I'm weird but I'd love to see a ghost one day if it actually exists. I do believe in ghosts, and spirits and all that (and if you don't I respect that 100%), but I also have my doubts because I've never seen one, so it would comprove it, you know what I mean?


17.Any phobias?

Uh yes... I have a phobia of pigeons and locusts. I hate them, just by looking at their photos I feel like crying. And I can tell you a little story about how I gained my phobia of pigeons. My cousin had this bird, he was really cute and one day I decided to take him out of it's cage, then he started flying everywhere, my mum closed the door of the kitchen so I had to get the bird myself and he was flying against my head and I was scared to death. After a couple of minutes of chasing the bird, I finally got the bird and put him back into it's cage. Since then I'm afraid of birds but especially pigeons and I have no idea why pigeons haha.


18.Do you bite your nails?

I used to, but no.


19.Have you ever had a near death experience?

No, I haven't. The closest thing to a death experience was when I was at a bus a few months ago and a man started hitting the driver and we almost had an accident because the driver kept driving and stopping the bus. It was so scary I started shaking like crazy and I never shake.


20.Do you drink coffee? 

Yes I do, but not regular coffee I like to add milk and drink it like that. Which is a latte basically. I'm boring.

MARCH FAVORITES: Beauty edition!

Hello beauties! How are you on this lovely afternoon? I can not believe it's finally Friday, I'm done with all the tests and I can finally rest now and have a relaxing weekend. I know the month didn't end yet but we're only four days away from April, crazy right? Time flies by... And I tought I'd share with you my favorites from March and what products I've been loving and wearing a lot.

  The first one HAS to be the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation. I can't even put into words how I feel about this foundation, It is just amazing. It does an amazing job at covering up the redness, and it looks so natural. I love it so much and it is super inexpensive. I believe it is 11 or 12 euros and I bought it for 5. Such an amazing deal and amazing quality.

Next is my nailpolish from essence. I really like the colour, it's this really bright red with sparkles and I just think it looks really cute specially now for Spring, it gives your nails a nice pop of colour. This also has a "sand" effect and dries very fast which is a plus.

Now for mascara I've been really liking to use Maybelline the falsies one. It does an amazing job at giving lots of volume and makes my lashes look great.

Now for hair, I've been using all this products for a long time now, and I absolutely love them all.
First is this shampoo from L'Oréal, smells amazing and leaves my hair super soft and more healthy looking.
Second is this "Care-Spray Essence" and this one is by far my favorite because it has helped my hair a lot! Months ago I began noticing that my hair was breaking and I would notice it especially in the shower, but after using this everyday before brushing my hair I've noticed such a huge difference and now in the shower any of my hair falls off.
Third is this hairspray from Nivea, I really like it specially when I curl my hair. It does an amazing job at making my curls last all day.
Last but not least my Schwarzkopf hair repair and heat protectant. I love it, it really protects my hair from the heat and I've noticed a huge difference after starting using this.

Ohhhhh, the super famous baby lips by maybelline. Who doesn't love this beauty? I've been using it like crazy! I love it so much because not only it's a beautiful color but also protects and moisturizes my lips, two in one. Love it, love it, love it.

And finally the last one, is this powder Stay Matte by Rimmel, I use it with the match perfection foundation and it looks amazing. Super light, you can't even notice or feel that you're using it and it does a good job at keeping your face matte for 4-5 of hours, if you're going out for a  whole day I recommend bringing this with you for a quick touch up.
