Instagram life

Hello beauties how are you all doing? Well I hope. So today I was going through my iphone and instagram, just watching my pictures and I saw that every good moment or special occasion that I have I share it with a picture on my instagram, so why not share some of my favorite with you guys? Probably the most of you don't follow me on instagram so I decided to show you guys some pictures of me, my friends, some special moments and tiny things that happened on my day and also what I like to post there and the kind of content that you'll find if you go on my instagram.

The well known selfie haha I love taking selfies, specially with friends. I also like to take pictures of some hairstyles that I've just tried and share it with the internet world.

I also share pictures of the little yet amazing moments or even memories from my childhood.

Food! Who doesn't like food? Every time I cook or go to a restaurant and the plate looks nice and the food really yummi I just take a picture of it to make everyone jealous. Just kidding haha.

The sky is my favorite thing to photograph. I think it is amazing the different colors that the sky can make depending on the weather, the clouds, the sun. A well taken picture of a beautiful sunset can be breath taking.

Fun times! Even though I'm having fun I like to stop for a couple of seconds to take a picture and keep the fun memory alive in a picture.

Well, I blog about fashion and beauty so of course I can't resist about sharing with you some of my outfits. I think it's fun and you can take some inspiration from it (if you like it obviously).

Hairstyles, haircuts and hairdos

Hello beauties how are you all doing? Finally Friday, the weekend is almost here and I can't wait for the weekend to arrive. So today I thought I would do something different because I ran out of ideas of what to post and I wanted to talk about hair since I almost never do it and was about time to talk about beauty/hair stuff. I'm going to show you guys all the hairstyles, haircuts and hairdos that I've been liking to see on celebrities/people etc. I hope you enjoy it.

1. This has to be the number 1 hairstyle this year, I've been seeing it so much specially since Kylie Jenner and Lily Collins cut theirs like this, I saw that a lot of people were rocking this hairstyle and I think it is gorgeous and super flattering especially if you have a petit size body, and an oval face. But I think it can compliment everyone.

2. I like to call this one the JLo look, because it was seriously one of the first people that I know of, with this kind of hairstyle. I think it is amazing, it gives you that messy/beachy look still super sexy and I just love it. 

3. It has to be ombre hair! I just love it so much and let's not talk about the fact that it was the biggest hair trend in 2013. 

4. Of course my ultimate favorite hairstyle to get my hair out of my face has to be messy buns. It's so simple yet so pretty. I love it. And you can totally use a messy bun in a casual manner just by using a plain messy bun, add a french braid or let your bangs out to frame your face, or also a lower bun  for a more formal look.

"Girl Power" TAG

Hello beauties. I know you're probably asking "Where the hell have you been?" Well, I don't really know why I haven't been posting for the past months, yes, I said months! I've just not been in the mood, I was kinda unmotivated but then my friends started telling me to start posting stuff again and started motivating me so here I am. Alright, today I'm doing the "Girl Power tag", I've been wanting to do this tag since I saw Selena Gomez doing it, I think it is inspiring and fun because at the end of the day, who run the world? Girls. I hope you enjoy it!

What does Girl Power mean to you?

When I think about "Girl Power" I think about confidence, being comfortable in your own skin and being able to go out and feel amazing about being yourselves. It's all about how you see yourself and how you want others to see you. Being able to cause an impression and waking up every day happy because you are you.

What is the best advice you can give to girls who want to be powerful?

I don't really have any advice, I mean, every girl should feel always powerful because we all are. You are you, and God made us this way for a reason, we should embrace what we have and if you feel like you can change something about yourself in order to feel better, just do it. You're in charge of your body it's up to you to work with what you have to make yourself happy.

If you could have any super power, what would it be and how would you use it?

It's really hard to choose just one, but If I could have any super power I think I would choose flying or healing. I think it would be amazing to just come up to someone who's in pain and be able to heal them.

I don't really now, I don't have just one picture with a girl power pose, just like Selena Gomez said, go on my instagram and then you'll see all my "girl power" poses haha.

What beauty product makes you feel powerful?

A product that makes me feel powerful... probably my eyeliner. I use winged out eyeliner almost everyday and I feel instantly more confident.

Why is it important to have power girls as role models?

I think it's important to have power girls as role models because if they're powerful, strong, confident and independent, and if you look up to them more likely you'll be more confident too. I think you should look up to them but never try to BE them. You are you and you're beautiful, just be yourself and be proud of what you are.

A weekend in "Mountain Range of the star" (Serra da Estrela)!

Hello beautiful people, how are you all doing? I am posting this kind of late because I went on a road trip to the "Mountain Range of the Star" the weekend before Christmas, but hey.. at least I'm posting and I hope you all enjoy it! As you may know because I talked about it in a previous post, I had never seen/touched snow in my entire life until now! I went there with a friend and her parents, and it was so much fun. I finally saw snow, the hotel there was amazing and so was the company of my friend and her parents, it was seriously incredible.

We stayed in the "Hotel Serra da Estrela" which is the located at the highest place of Portugal. The hotel is  in 1550 m of altitude! Crazy right?

And this is the hotel we stayed in. Inside it was so cozy and beautiful. As you can see through some pictures I'm going to show you.

This is the lobby area. It was soooo cold outside and this area was seriously so cozy and warm and they were playing christmas music as well.

This is some "little living rooms" that they have. In every single corner of the hotel you would find little living rooms like this one, mainly for people to just chill, etc. So pretty. 

This is the restaurant we had dinner. It is a "buffet" and the theme is "Mediaeval Restaurant". All the workers there were also wearing some clothes to represent the middle age. I thought it was so cool and creative.

This was my hotel room. Also super warm and cozy. And it may not seem in the picture but it was really big and spacious.

Now I leave you here with some pictures that I took of the view of my hotel room and some other shots that I took on the top of the mountain (2000 metros).

Christmas favorites!

Hello everyone, how are you? Well I hope! I can not believe that we are only 2 days away from Christmas, like, what? I feel like it was yesterday that Summer ended, and now it's almost Christmas, it's ridiculous! Since Christmas is right around the corner, I thought it was a good idea showing you some of my favorite products, food etc. So here it is, I hope you enjoy it.

This first product is a shower gel, and I mainly love it because of the smell. It smells like coconut and it is amazing. It's not too strong, it's a very subtle coconut smell. And of course because of the packaging. It's so cute and Christmassy. I'd love to tell you guys the price but this was a gift, so, I don't know, sorry.

This next product is a makeup remover from Garnier and I have previously talked about this specific product in a previous post, but it is seriously so amazing that I couldn't not include in my favorites. I've been using this makeup remover for quite a while now and I absolutely love it. It removes my makeup smoothly and leaves my face super duper soft. I love it.

Next is this body conditioner, it's a new product from Nivea and I like it very much. I use it during the shower and I notice that after the shower I don't really need to apply a moisturizer because my body is already soft and hydrated, and that is always a plus. Very good product, nice job Nivea.

Next is this nailpolish by CLICHÉ. I love it so much! It's such a pretty sparkly color and so christmassy. I'm definitly painting my nails with this nailpolish for Christmas.

Now for perfume, lately I've been using the new Justin Bieber's perfume The Key and I love it. It smells so good and the packaging is gorgeous. I'm gonna try to describe the scent, just a warning guys, I'm the worst at describing things but I will do my best. It smells kind of fruity and it's a little bit strong so a little bit goes a long way. And it smells way better 2 or 3 minutes after you spray it on your body.

Next is this candle, of course not only for the design, which is gorgeous, but also because this candle has the best scent ever! It is apple cinnamon and oh my god, I can't even put it into words, you just have to smell it. It smells just like Christmas, it's so amazing and it burns for the longest time. Love it.

Now for food, my favorite part yum yum. First are this chocolates. This ones are just like ferrero roches (which I prefer) but with coconut and white chocolate, and nonetheless super delicious. I am addicted and I need help. See that box there? It was filled with Raffaellos a week ago now, it's almost empty as you can see. Oh dear.

And of course my next favorite is the one and only, Starbucks. I just recently started going to Starbucks and I am already addicted. And if you're wondering, yes, I took those pictures and both are my drinks (and cookie) that I ordered myself. On the left is hot chocolat with caramel and a giant chocolate chip cookie, and on the right is a chocolate frappuccino. I'm drolling right now just by looking at this pictures. Moving on before I make my self go to Starbucks this late at night...

And finally, of course I had to include my advent calendar! I know, I know, I'm such a child when it comes to Christmas but it's just been a tradition, ever year I do this and I think it's such a cute way to countdown till Christmas (and yummi of course).

Now, for the big final is my favorite song this Christmas. And it is "Last Christmas" by the beautiful Ariana Grande. It's an adaptation of the original song by Wham. I still love the original one, I think it's one of the best Christmas songs ever, but I've just been loving listening to Ariana and her latest Christmas songs, so catchy and Christmassy.

Mini Primark haul!

Hello beauties, how are you all doing? So, yesterday I went shopping with my mom and of course I had to go to Primark even tho I knew I couldn't resist not buying something. I bought more stuff there but I can not show you because some of them are gifts, and my family and friends sometimes read my blog so I can not take the risk haha. This is a very short haul but I hope you enjoy it anyway. Let's get started!

The first thing I bought was this cardigan, I've been wanting one of these for the longest time and now I finally have one in my hands. I was looking for the perfect comfortable grey cardigan and when my eyeballs saw this one, I knew I had to buy it and it was only 12 euros.

Ok guys this one I have to tell you that it was the best purshase ever. I mean, I bought this tank top for 2 euros, like, what? I think it's super adorable and I think it will look super cute with the grey cardigan.

Oh my god, this one is by far my favorite. It's a little dog with a santa hat! This jumper is so cute, I can not  get over it. It's so adorable. And it was 3 euros! Good job Primark!

The next thing I bought was this socks, but not just any socks guys. It's Christmas socks! I am so excited for Christmas and I think this ones are so cute and so comfortable. I love them and they were 3,50 euros.

This ones below are my favorites out of the bunch.

Then I bought some dark skinny jeans, if you know me you would know that I absolutely love skinny jeans, it's basically what I wear every day. It's not only super comfortable but also flattering and it goes with pretty much everything. And they were 8 euros.

And last but not least is this earrings. I thought they were so cute and feminine, great for more sophisticated looks but it an also be worn with casual outfits. They were 1,50 euros.


That's about it, I hope you enjoyed even tho it was such a small haul. But I thought I should show you what I bought anyways, because if you have a Primark where you live you can totally go there and buy some christmas presents because Primark sells such amazing clothes, house decor, etc for such amazing prices. Confessions of a blogger!

Hello everyone how are you all doing? Well I hope. I was tagged by Katie (thank you so much sweetie!) to do the confessions of a blogger tag. I thought it was a funny idea, and as you may know I love to do tags, so why not? Let's begin!



When did you start blogging?
After a year of debating myself, September 2013.

 

Have you had any other online presence before e.g. YouTube or a previous blog?

Nope, this is my first time but I've always wanted to do youtube videos. But as you may know I'm kind of shy so I thought this would be a great idea.

Why did you start your blog?

It was a very boring summer afternoon and I saw a picture on tumblr of this hairstyle called "french braid" and I really wanted to know how to do it. So I went on youtube and started investigating to see if I could find any videos explaining how to do it "aka hair tutorial". Once I saw the video I ran into the bathroom to try it myself and it actually came out really good. After that I started watching more and more videos, started subscribing to beauty gurus (the first one was actually thatsheart and she's still one of my favorites). I found myself buying makeup (back then I didn't use to wear a lot of makeup, mascara and lipgloss was enough for me haha). Then I realised that I loved what these girls were doing, sharing their opinion, tips, etc with the world and how much effort they put into their videos. I thought it was pretty amazing and I actually wanted to be one of them. So a year later of debating myself, here I am. Not that I consider myself as a "beauty guru" because I'm not, I'm far from it, I just want to share my opinion and interact with other people in this comunity.

 

When did you start becoming serious about blogging?

I don't think I have yet. I created my blog only 3 months ago, I post here because I want to and because I love to. No one is paying me or anything, so I don't think this is something "serious", it's just something that I do for fun, it's my hobby and I love it.

 

What was your first post?

My first post was an introduction to my blog, so people could see what this blog was about and to tella little bit about myself, etc.

 

Where do you see your blog in a year?

Hopefully my blog will be filled with, creative, with quality and well written posts. Since I started only 3 months ago I know that the quality, and the posts are not the best but hopefully, that is something that's going to change.

 

What is the best/most rewarding thing to you about blogging?

To me the most rewarding thing about blogging is knowing that the effort and time that I put on my posts is payed of by beautiful people who actually take some time of their days to read what I post. That is the beauty of blogging, sharing with people my thoughts and my boring stuff and people actually enjoy reading and take time to comment on my posts. I think that is amazing and it makes me so happy. 

 

What is the most discouraging thing that happens to you/ has happened?

To be honest nothing has discouraged me from blogging. Everyone has been super amazing. I've been getting so many compliments and amazing feedback. Of course if someone says something less nice about my posts or content I will not be happy with it, but I won't be discouraged too, it's their opinion and if doing this makes me happy I think I shouldn't stop just because someone told me not to. Do what makes you happy, and don't care about other's opinion. Because at the end of the day we're the ones doing something productive and they are sitting behind a computer,judging.

What's your lasting blogging motivation/inspiration?

My blogging inspiration it has to be other bloggers/youtubers and when I see beauty and fashion related pictures on the internet/television..
