Changing my room for summer.

Hello beauties, I wasn't going to post anything today but when I woke up I was full of energy (really rare by the way) and I decided to start changing somethings on my room now for summer! It's not that much yet but decided to take some pics and share it with you. As you may know from previous posts I had my room in dark purple and brown for winter with really warm colors and it wasn't really matching the weather now since it's so sunny and beautiful. So I went for florals and, creams, light grey, light pink.. some really light and fresh colors/patterns.

I know it's not that much, but changing simple things such as cushions, picture frames or you bedding sheets can make a huge difference. And just wanted to share it with you because why not? right? *smiles*. Also wanted to ask you guys if you like my new blog template? Been working on it for ages and now it's finally how I wanted it to be. What do you think?

What about you? Are you going to change your room a bit for summer?

Walking around Lisbon

Hello beauties! So, yesterday I went on a little field trip/study trip with school and we basically just walked around Lisbon, Portugal. I must admit that, even tho I live ten minutes away from it I rarely go visit any places there, so this trip was nice to get to know a little bit better where I live and to hang out with my friends. I decided to take lots of pictures to choose some to show you. I didn't went to any museum or anything like that so the pictures you're about to see are all from random places, streets, etc. Hope you like it!

T-shirt: Primark
Flanel shirt: Primark
Black skinny jeans: Primark
White shoes/sneakers: Bershka
Brown bag: Stradivarius

See that castle back there? That's where we started walking to where I am now taking the picture. And then we had to go back to the metropolitan. You can imagine the pain I feel on my legs and feet today.

Alright, I hope you liked this post. I know some of you already know that although I write my blog in English and all that I am actually portuguese and live in Lisbon, Portugal. This is the old side of the city and has lots of history, that's why we did a little study trip there.

What about you? What was your favorite field/study trip? x

APRIL FAVOURITES 2014!

Hello beauties! Okay, before I start, I just need to ask you one thing... what the hell is happening to 2014? How are we already in May? How? Time has been flying by. It feels like yesterday I was showing you guys some stuff I bought for Christmas, etc. and now we're one month away from Summer. So weird, just had to mention that. Now for the actual post, today I'm showing you some products/random stuff that I've been really liking this past month.

 Perfume ROSE FRAÎCHE: Yves Rocher

This is a perfume that my grandma gave me and I love it so much. It has a floral scent to it and it might seem strong at first but when you spray it on your skin it smells really nice, and fresh and floral.

Facial cleaner mousse: O BoticĂĄrio

This is a skincare product that I've been using one or two times everyday. It is a mousse that I use it with a face brush to exfoliate/clean/wash my face and it does an amazing job at keeping my face clean and feeling fresh. And it also smells amazing which is always a plus.

Lipgloss in "Nude Kiss": Essence

Omg, this is probably my favorite one. It is gorgeous! It's the perfect nude pink color for me. It's not super sticky and it is so shiny. I love, love, love it so much. It is my go to everyday lipstick and it was also super cheap. Ohh how I love drugstore products... I might have to buy another one though because this one's almost empty.

COLOR BOOST CRAYON in "Orange Punch": Bourjois

This lip crayon is perfection. I absolutely LOVE it. It is so appropriate for spring, the color is fantastic, it doesn't make your lips feel dry after a while and I am just in love.

nativaSPA hand cream: O BoticĂĄrio

This is a bit random but this is my April favorites and this has to be definitely one of my "skincare" products that I've been using the most. This was a gift from a friend, and it is a handcream. It smells so, freaking good. I love everything fruity and this one's in guarana. So amazing. And it makes my hand feel like a baby's butt since they're really dry.

Both sunglasses: Primark

Now for the last thing/things it is my sunnies that I bought recently! I've never used to wear sunglasses that much, but for some reason I've been really, really liking it! It covers your face from the sun (or from the world when I'm not wearing makeup haha) and they're really cute to add a little some, some to your outfits!

That's it. I hope you liked my post, make sure you leave me your opinion in the comments! It would mean a lot. x

Fun in the sun!

Sun, hot weather, the sea, bikinis, the feeling of the sand on your feet, juicy fruits, ahhh... how much I missed this weather. I know, I know that you're probably thinking why the hell did I went to the beach already? And the answer is that you may already know that I live in Portugal and the weather here it's pretty nice, and our summers usually start this month since it's starting to get really hot.
Last weekend I went to the beach with my parents and some friends, and since it was my first day at the beach of the year I decided to take some pictures and share it with you.

In case you're wondering, I wore this to the beach. Super colorful and fun!

White T: Bershka
Pants: Primark
Sandals: Primark
Bikini: Lefties

The water was super cold and the first time my feet went into the water my bones hurt! But once you got used to it, it wasn't that bad and I actually had a lot of fun with my friends.
The weather was SO nice, no wind, the sun wasn't overwhelmingly hot and it was perfect to just lay down in my towel and rest a bit while getting a bit tanned (always use sunscreen you guys, or else you won't be tanned but burnt, and that is horrible for your skin).

Hope you liked this little post, please let me know in the comments. I really wanted to share this with you and show how much I missed and love the beach haha. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Egg pudding recipe!

Hello beauties how are you? As you can see through the title I'm going to attempt explaining to you guys my recipe for a delicious homemade egg pudding. It is so easy to do and it only takes a few minutes to prepare.

 Time: 1:40 min.

What you are going to need:

  • 12 eggs
  • 1 l of milk
  • 275 grams of sugar (2.2 cups I believe)
  • Liquid caramel
How to:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ÂșC.
  2. In a bowl whisk together the eggs and the sugar. Mix this two ingredients very well until it forms a nice and smooth consistency. Then pour the milk little by little while mixing it all together.
  3. After doing all that, take your cake/pudding form and caramelize it using your hands, or whatever tool you want it.
  4. Pour the pudding mixture into the caramelized form.
  5. Now it's ready to be baked in bain marie for 1 and a half hour!
If you don't know how to bake in bain Marie or it's meaning, it's really simple. Just take a form/pan bigger than your pudding form and pour boiling water in it. Put it in the oven while it's preheating and once you finish preparing your pudding instead of putting it straight into oven put it in the boiling water. This way the pudding will bake slowly preventing it from burning.
Youn can see how I did it and also what bain marie is in the picture below.

And we don't want to waste any pudding guys so I took a smaller form and baked the leftover pudding mixture.

I hope you liked this post. I know this is not beauty or fashion related but I want my blog to be a little bit of everything and not only for beauty posts. And I really wanted to share this really easy yet delicious recipe with you guys, I hope you don't mind. Thank you so much, and if you try out this recipe make sure you let me know in the comments and send me a picture on twitter or instagram! xo

A day in my life: HAPPY EASTER!

Hello beauties how are you doing o this lovely sunday afternoon? First of all, I just want to wish you a happy Easter, hope you had fun today hanging out with your family, friends, or if you didn't I hope you enjoyed your day anyway. Have you ate a lot of chocolate eggs, or bunnies? Since it is Easter and I wasn't going to stay at home but yes going to my grandma's house, I decided to bring you along with me and show you what I did on this day. This is a post that I've never tried to write before but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

After a long time of hearing my mum calling my name and telling me to get ready otherwise I would get late, I finally managed myself to get up. This is what happens when I spend the night watching series on my computer taking advantage of the fact that I'm on spring break. For my breakfast I wanted something fast, fresh and healthy, so I made myself a smoothie out of a banana, pineapple and strawberry yogurt and drank it from my starbucks cup. Uh I'm so cool.

After 40 minutes I was finally ready and we got into the car on our way to my grandma's. Here's some pics that I took while in the car and on the street. If you know me you'd know that I really like neutrals, like black, white, brown but since it is Spring, I'm getting more adventurous on what I wear, I wear a lot more colors, patterns... since it is Easter I decided to dress up even more colorful by wearing a floral shirt, a pastel pink cardigan, and I even painted my nails blue to add  more colors. A little bit out of my comfort zone, but I love it.

Then I had a wonderful lunch with my family, sorry if the photo is a little bit weird but I totally forgot to take a picture of the food haha. But, you can see my grandma's dog in the back, what a cutie! We had some meat, fries, rice and she also made some "bacalhau" which is fish and a typical portuguese dish. Yum yum.

My aunt also gave me this, and no it is not chocolate but a bunny to put in your closet and makes your clothing smell amazing.
Now I'm at home, snuggled in my blanket, writing this for you and waiting for 9 pm to watch a disney movie, more specifically "Brave", with my parents.

Thank you so much for reading this, I hope you liked it and if you did please tell me in the comments because I absolutely love to read them, it honestly makes my day. Once again, happy Easter and have a wonderful week! x
